Shutting Down

Got a couple reasons for discontinuing this blog...

1: It's kinda... I don't know, stealing? Not really, but, I don't know. I don't post original content, other than my opinions on the videos I share. Basically I just take other people's stuff (music, videos) and post it with my opinion. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's just not original, and I don't think the youtubers I shared from appreciate it (since many of them disabled sharing options from their videos soon after I shared them here). A minor point, but one that has been in the back of my mind for a while.

2: Nobody comes here anymore! Well, I guess some people do, but there's no interaction.
Sharing my favorite music with you is like taking you to my favorite restaurant. I don't just want you to eat something... I want you to enjoy it with me! Tell me how you like it! Suggest similar restaurants that you'd thing I'd like! And that used to happen, but not anymore.

3: I have been re-evaluating some things in my life, and I really haven't had time for this blog (even though it only takes five minutes to make a post). Okay, I had time, but this just isn't high on my priority list. I either need to commit to this, or not.

So there you have it. To be 100% honest with you, points 1 and 3 wouldn't matter to me if point 2 were revoked. :P

But yeah. Here is one last piece of music before I go...

It's a sad piece, but as it plays, I remember all of the fun times I had with you guys over the course of this year. :') Farewell, friends! Never stop loving good music!

Zeb Orrelios

Kevin Kiner has really done a good job doing the soundtrack for the Star Wars: Rebels show, and this here is a prime example.
This track retains all the dashing bravado of the Original Trilogy's music, but is bouncy and playful at the same time... though the beginning and end serve to show that ultimately, things are serious. This is Star Wars, after all.

This music plays while Zeb takes out stormtroopers on Lothal:

Thor: The Dark World

The soundtrack for Thor: the Dark World has got to be one of the best movie soundtracks out there, due to the sheer weight of emotion it carries. Seriously, it makes me want to cry sometimes! Ew, sorry, I did not mean to sound so fangirlish...

John Carter: Love Theme

This is actually just the normal John Carter theme, but I call it a love theme because it reminds me of a mix of Leia's theme and the Padme/Anakin love theme from Star Wars, as well as the Indiana Jones love theme. We have the amazing Michael Giacchino to thank for this moving soundtrack.

I feel like being swept away on a romantic and daring quest to save a Princess on a Red Planet...
