This'l: I Ain't Turnin' Back!

Featuring FLAME.
WOW! This'l is an AMAZING Christian rapper... still not as good as Shai Linne, but still awesome.

But this song? This song right here? It's my new anthem. My theme. I ain't turnin' back. I just got back from the Cincinnati homeschool convention, where I attended talks by Alex McFarland, Scott Klusendorf, and Ben Carson. And I am on fire and ready to do the Lord' Work however I can.

I couldn't find any accurate lyrics anywhere online (all of them had mistakes in them) so I won't post all the lyrics. But there are a few lines that I wanted to focus on:
"I'm through playing games; you can see it in my eyes!"
"Runnin' the same race! We on the same track! For the same God who resurrected His Son! Reflect on what He's done! Ain't no backwards to run!"
"...and I found my purpose. Now my life's a sacrifice, fam I'm livin' worship!"
A burning passion swells within my chest when I listen to this. I'm through playing games. It's time to fight. I ain't turnin' back!

  1. Are you kidding? Flame is awesome because he's from St. Louis! (And since he features Shai Linne, he's almost as cool.)

    1. Flame is awesome for his content, not his origin... In case you haven't noticed, there's nothing 'good' about where these rappers came from. ;]
But yeah, Flame is pretty awesome.

    2. Flame is my local rapper. Even if he wasn't awesome, he'd be awesome. But luckily he is awesome AND awesome!
PS, Future is my local rapper too. :D

    3. Okay, okay, I admit it, I'm jealous now...

Just a few more times and the word "awesome" will lose its meaning!

    4. Haha! I've been meaning to post some of him on my blog, but I've just been busy with writing music. We have a couple of his albums and they're sweet. He has some songs featuring people I've met, (Future and Kenny Petty.) Our church helped them plant a church in St. Louis, which celebrates its 2nd anniversary on Mother's day. :)
People who judge rap haven't met these people.

      Haha, almost....

I'd love to hear what you think of this music!
