Cassie Kwant used the music suggestion form to request this song: Misty Mountains, as performed by the Dwarf cast of The Hobbit and Richard Armitage.
The last music request was for the Song of the Lonely Mountain sung by Neil Finn, and as you remember, I specifically said:
"To be honest, I prefer the version of this song that is sung by Thorin and company."So I find it pleasing, yet oddly convenient, that this was the next song to be requested. Coincidence? I think not!
What do you think?
Richard Armitage has such an amazing voice. :-) However, I find it extremely disappointing that they didn't sing the whole song, like in the book. I've always wondered why they didn't sing the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteHe does have an amazing voice, and I wish they had done it, just as a side thing, but the reason they only had 2 of the verses in the movie is because it would have been way too long. Payton, her sister, my sister and I tried to sing all of the verses to the same tune once and it took forever! It was fun, though.
DeleteYes! I actually did that once, and it definitely took a while...
DeleteI really don't think it's a coincidence either... she saw it and then asked me how to request it. She said she liked Song of the Lonely Mountain, and want to hear the other one. XD
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Thank you!
