What I do know is that this music improves anything you add it too! Working out? Doing dishes? Drawing? Manning an anti-aircraft turret? You can't go wrong with this tune!

Space Jam: Final Match
I barely even remember watching Space Jam as a little kid, so don't judge.

Everything is Awesome!
A lot of people hate this song due to its annoying nature and uncanny ability to become stuck in your head... But I really enjoy it. The non-movie version of the song is good, but I prefer the version in the movie because the LEGO minifigs make it so much more funny. I mean, watch the arms of that policeman as he directs traffic. XD
"Cheese slopes! Cheese slopes! Come on, everybody!"

Weird Al - Lasagna
I am not familiar with the lyrics of the song this is a parody of (La Bamba?), but I am familiar with the tune. It was another one of those songs that sat around getting stale on my parent's computer back in the day. In any case, Weird Al's version is much more fun, and quotable... since I am a fan of Italian food.
Aaaaand now I'm hungry.

In the Belly of the Whale & God of Second Chances
Does anyone else remember that Veggietales Jonah movie? The soundtrack was really good.
Now and then the Newsboys make a song that I really like. This is one of those songs, and it has very high sentimental value for me. Also, the lyrics are hilarious, and that opening is just like... so cool. I love it.
This was another song from that movie... Not very deep, but very true. Plus I really like that worship style.

Sam Gamgee gives us a real classic. :)
Note: No potatoes were hurt in the making of this song.

The Imposible Dream
Haha! This song is from Man of La Mancha, a musical adapted from the tale of Don Quixote. In this song, Don Quixote explains his quest and the reasons behind it.
This version is performed by the prestigious Andre Rieu and the Platin Tenors.
I still can't decide which word describes this song better: epic or hilarious! I'm sure both work fine. ;)
Here are the lyrics for your enjoyment:
To dream ... the impossible dreamAnd I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
To fight ... the unbeatable foe
To bear ... with unbearable sorrow
To run ... where the brave dare not go
To right ... the unrightable wrong
To love ... pure and chaste from afar
To try ... when your arms are too weary
To reach ... the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right, without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm,
when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this:
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach ... the unreachable star
That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm,
when I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this:
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach ... the unreachable star!
The "Last ounce of courage" part always makes my mom laugh. XD

Shai Linne: The Glory of God, Ft. L.E. and Little Lexa
A very cool song I was introduced to lately. It's a little repetitive, but the lyrics are great and so is the music.
There is another version of this song that you've probably never heard before (dons hipster glasses), but it's certainly worth a listen! ;D (link in case the embed doesn't work)
Professional rappers L.E. and Little Lexa give us their remix.

Day 3: Mcleach Sings!
Umm... Yeeeaaaah. XD
One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite movies as a kid.
I am writing about a mentally insane character, so I guess this helps? I don't know. To be honest, this has very little to do with my novel writing... I just think it's funny and worth a share. Enjoy. ;)

Music Request: They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard
The request system continues to be abused, this time by Tabby Hollowell.
At least it's better than PFUDOR, people.
Also, for your enjoyment, a sped-up version:

Music... Request... Eugh...
Mongoo Lebron had the audacity to request the song "Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows" to annoy her friend Payton. I feel like the accomplice in a crime...
IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN PEOPLE!
I'm going to have to ask all of you to select the "Gross!" reaction button...

Alpha Team
Don't judge!
This soundtrack comes from a funny yet educational LEGO puzzle game based on the LEGO Alpha Team sets. The soundtrack, like most media to come out of LEGO, is hilarious. Well worth a listen, at least for the laughs (or, if you're like me, for the nostalgia).

Oliver! Be Back Soon
If you're not familiar with the classical musical Oliver (Based off Dickens' Oliver Twist), then you can safely consider yourself culturally illiterate. Or, consider yourself one of us (Oliver reference, you wouldn't get it).
Anyway, this song is just so funny. I love it. Oliver is cute (though his voice-over will forever go down in history as total garbage), Dodger is a riot, and Fagin is hilarious. It doesn't get much better than that!
I actually made up a parody of this song about 2 years ago called "Cheerio-Piggyback Stew."
Oh yeah, in the spirit of Valentines day, if I ever say "Cheerio!" to you, you'll know why. ;)

WALL-E: Foreign Contaminant
WALL-E is one of my favorite movies of all time. This is probably one of my favorite parts in the soundtrack: The scout ship has returned to the Axiom, and MO and his fellow robots line up for cleaning and inspection of the EVE probes. The quirky sci-fi music perfectly matches the robots as well as the scene that unfolds between MO and WALL-E. ^_^
If you have a favorite part of the WALL-E soundtrack, I'd love to hear it!

Moves Like Jabba!
Couldn't help sharing this... It is a parody, so it's only going to be funny if you're familiar with the source material (Star Wars, Moves Like Jagger). I like this much better than the original song. XD (especially since the original is kind of... inappropriate)
It's way too catchy, and gets stuck in my head so bad...

I AM NOT A ROBOT!
Trip Lee is a singer, poet, author, and pastor. He's also a rapper!
In this song, Trip Lee makes a comparison between being controlled by sin and being a robot. In truth, until Christ sets us free, our wills are enslaved to sin (John 8:34; Romans 6). Thankfully, Christ came to free us from sin, and he makes us new. We don't have to be robots anymore.

"Hey world, you know I see your game
And I don't need your lies, I ain't worried bout a thing
Hey devil, I know you want me chained
But you have been defeated, and your power has been drained
Hey flesh, I know you bear my name
I know you love the lies, but I'm steady tryna change
You mighta been confused, but this a new day
I'm saved now, I ain't gotta do what you say!
To my friends, who are still on lockdown
Still controlled by their passions, stop now
He can free everybody from the top down
If you're freed up, say this with me right now:
I'm not a, I'm not a Robot now!"

Country Ham
Something silly again today... I was scrolling through my youtube history from the last two years, and stumbled across this hilarious song and had to share it.
It is a parody, but unlike most parodies, you don't need to hear the original song for it to be funny. The only thing I really know about the original song other than the title is that I will laugh to death if I ever listen to it.
Not sure if this is the best version, as my internet is now too slow to play videos. So if there's something wrong with this vid, lemme know.

ANGRY BIRDS THEME
Something a little more silly today:
The angry birds theme song was designed to drive people insane. Fortunately, symptoms are only observed in subjects who listened to the track more than twice in a row.

The Breakfast Song!
I used to listen to this song back when I was little, then again in my early teens, and now I've found it once more. The doctrinal content isn't the best, the song being on the silly side, but the Newsboys still managed to get some serious lyrics in there.
